I sleep in the clouds, dream in the sky,
I'll keep dreaming as life passes me by,
I think my dreams keep me sane,
I dream of happiness, a life without pain,
some people say I'm stuck in this place,
and I'll never go anywhere,
but in my dreams I've already been there,
I know some day I'll have to wake up,
but I feel the real world is more like a nightmare,
I'm safe in my closed eye wonderland,
this poem goes to all the dreamers that understand,
no matter what they say...
keep your dreams but don't dream your life away 

The poem was really grab my attention. The author used a words that is very clear and easy to understand, that was the first thing that grab my attention. The author also use a lot rhyme in the poem. For example like ( Sky- By ), ( sane-pain ), ( wonderland- understand ). Its sound very beautiful when you read the poem out loud. The main reason that make me love this poem, and why its stand out from other is the meaning of the poem is very deep. Some poem when I finish reading I didn't get anything from it, I suddenly forget about it. For this poem after I finished reading it, is make me stop and think for a moment, thing about what is that deep meaning mean, and I think somehow the author is taking about me. It make me cannot forget it after reading the poem. The poem talk about people dream when they sleep. Those dream a very beautiful, a dream full of happiness, a life without pain. It make people don't want to wake up, because these life was to beautiful in the dream. They feel save when they in the dream. They affect that when they wake up they have to face the suffer that they having, because everybody have something that they are suffer in their life. They know that those dream will never last for long, but no matter what people say, they need those dream to make, their life better. The reason why I said I feel like the poem is talk about me because sometime when I have a bad day, when everything is just not on my side I choose to close my to because I think when I close my eyes I can forget the real world, forget those thing that I have to face. And than when I wake up I feel like a was having a great start again. That is the reason why this poem for me stand out of all other poem.

The Opal Dream Cave
In an opal dream cave I found a fairy:
Her wings were frailer than flower petals,
Frailer far than snowflakes.
She was not frightened, but poised on my finger,
Then delicately walked into my hand.
I shut the two palms of my hand together
And help her prisoner
I carried her out of the opal cave
Then opened my hands.
Firs she become thistledown,
Then a mote in a sunbeam,
Then- nothing at all.
Empty now is my opal dream cave.

I choose this poem is because this poem is about the Opal dream and we just read a novel about it. That is the first thing that grab my attention. I like this poem because the author use a lot of beautiful words that catch people attention. When I finish reading it there is a lot of meaning the poem, make me think about it for a while, not forget it right after I read it. The poem is about how hard for people to find opal, but people still dream about it, and what ti get it

                                         Reflect on creative project.

         In This project, I’m in the same group with Jerry and Leo.  Together we have decided to create a broad game, that relate to the story in novel. We borrowed the idea of the game called Saboteur 2, and we created and remake it to make it more relate to the novel, but we still kept the idea of the game.

         The main idea of the game is; the class will be dividing into the side. The one will be on the good side, one will be on the bad side, and one will be Kellyanne. There will be a lot of character is on the good side, only two will be on the bad side, and one will be Kellyanne, That mean there will be a lot of good character in the class and they will find again the other two. In this situation the good people is Ashmol family member expect Kellyanne. The bad people will be Old Sild and his friend. The Role of the Good people is they have to find the opal that we already hide, by connecting the road together to make their way to opal. The role of the bad people is they have to stop good people from taking other Opal by destroying the road or use Punishment by using the action card if in the end if the good people cannot find the opal the bad people will win. Kellyanne will be the special character. The person who is Kellyanne is not finding opal or stops the good people finding opal. Kellyanne role is she has to let the bad and good people to finding Pobby and Dingan. So we can all learn form the story that for Kellyanne Pobby and Dingan is more important than opal. She wants everybody looking for Pobby and Dingan and believe that they were real.

         The reason why we choose this to be a final project is because we are all love board game. Its we felt more interesting while we doing the project. We were having different role every time. Sometime me and Jerry cut all the note card for Leo to draw, sometime Jerry cut the note card for Me and Leo to draw. We rotated the role every time; so one person didn’t get broad of doing the same role again and again. In the end, we are very pound of our self that we are already finish the project on the, even though we had a lot of work to do. In my opinions our project come out very well. We change the original game; to our own game to make it similar and after playing the game people can learn about the novel. I think that is our strengths that we have a lot of idea. Our Weaknesses is the drawing part. The part where took us a very long time to finish drawing, and as you can see our drawing was not very good, is even hard to understood what we draw, so we really scared that people didn’t know what we are tried to draw. We threw a lot of note card away because we fail to draw what we wanted to draw. The hardest thing to draw was the character card, especially Pobby and Dingan because they are imaginary. So we have to also use our Imaginary to draw Pobby and Dingan, and the road card was very easy to drew.   

         After all in this project I learned a lot of thing. For example the group work is very important. We have to talk to each other so that we can agree on each other idea; it was very hard to choose who idea is better. I learned that every member of the group is very important, if one person did something wrong, the group is in a lot of trouble. So I learned that we should respect and listen to your group member, because is better to doing thing with more than one people. If I have to do this project alone I will not be able to finish on time. Finally the thing that we are all learn is that we can not draw.

We have just been thinking about other idea this weekend. We have an idea that, we will take one radom person on the class to be Kellyanne. Now not just opal is been hidding, we will hide Pobby and Digan too. The person who choose to be kellyanne have to led the 2 team to Pobby and Dingan without leding they know. But old Sild team still stop the other team from finding opal. He just doesn't care about Pobby and Dingan. Who find opal frist between The two team win. If kellyanne success in leding the two team find Pobby And Dingan, Kellyanne will win. Finally we are still going on cuting the card, and drawing it. I think we still have a lot of work to but I think we will finish on time and it will be perfect

For this project. I’m going to work with Jerry and Leo. We have an Idea that, we will create the board game. Base on the idea of the Saboteur game. One person will be the dwarves. He will be mining for god, but in the illegal ways, that mean the steal the gold from other person. The other person job is to find out the person who still the gold, and protect he mining. The class will be making up in to two groups. There will be 1 boss, 1 profiteer, and 1 geologist. Each one will have their job. The boss tries to help both groups. The Profiteer deals with everyone. The geologist hunts crystals rather than gold. We will pretend the gold is the opal, the dwarves will be Old Sild , and all the rest will be the member of Ashmol family  ( Pobby and Dingan too) and the people in Lighning village. And all of them will protect the opal, by find out who is the dwarves and make him go to jail. Which group find out the dwarves that group will win. Everybody will have 30 min to find the dwarves. That is what we have for now, but we will be create more in the game in the future. Sometime relate more about the the story. Maybe we will call this game finding the opal instead of saboteur. Finally I learn that broad game are not that broing and you need team work a lot to do something succesful. Even though we have 3 people in are group but is going to take a long time to make this perfect. We have to learn how to play this, add more to it to make it more relate to the novel and more instesting.

     Opal Dream.

Everybody much have the dream themselves. Some people have a very big dream, but some have small.  The novel Pobby and Dingan is it not a exception. Everybody in the Lightning  Ridge village have there own dream too. They dream that some day they can found the beautiful rock Opal so they can change their life, but is was not easy to found an opal .  “The secret of an opal's color lies not in its substance but in its absence”. This quotes show that people in the Lightning Ridge Village is dreaming to much about opal. They just see the beautiful and the colorful outside of the opal. They forget about those small dreams. They forget what is the real goal in their life.

 Rex, Ashmol’s dad had this crazy dream about finding  opal. He decided to move his family from England to the small village in Australia just to make his opal dream come true. When he came to the Lightning Ridge village. He spend most of his time to look for opal. The more he look the more he want to find it, but Rex was never lucky, day by day he just cannot find the opal. He never gave up, but he was pay to much time to look for this opal. He get into opal like drug, he cannot not stop looking for it. Sometime he even forget about his family, forgot in their dream. He forgot about his wife dream, he didn’t believe in Kellyanne dream. He make his wife fell lonely, and dream to go back to England like long time ago. A place where she didn’t have to worry about anything, a place that she can feel happy again. He didn’t believe on Pobby and Digan Kellyanne imaginary friend. He seem to not dream on small thing anymore. Even he loss them, and make Kellyanne sick.

Not just Rex all the people in the Linging Village didn’t believe in Pobby and Dingan. Even Ashmol from the first place and his mom just pretending to make Kellyanne feel better. In my opinions, Kellyanne have changes all the people from the Lightning village. Kellyanne make the opal absences, make them forget about opal for one. Let them believe in Pobby and Digan, make them dream about those small thing, force them to care about each other. The proof is a lot of people are coming to the Pobby and Dingan funeral. Show them what is more important then Opal

In the end of the novel even when Asmol find the opal, but he have to sell it for Pobby and Dingan funeral, but Ashol family still live happy together. They didn’t opal to make them become happier. “The secret of an opal's color lies not in its substance but in its absence”. They still can dream about opal, but is better to make is absence, so they the opal still be colorful and beautiful in their eyes. Rather than looking for it.
