                                               Me and you.

I was very surprise of the ending of the book. The relationship between 

Lorenzo and Olivia is was very good. They promised to each other that; they 

will change so when they see each other again, and they were very happy to 

see people that they love change in the positive way. But after ten years when 

Lorenzo tried to find Olivia again she was already death, because she took so 

many heroin. That show Olivia didn’t keep the promise with Lorenzo. We 

don’t know what happen, but I think see was tried to keep the promise with 

Lorenzo, but if you already take heroin is very hard to stopped taking it. 

Maybe in front of Lorenzo she felt very strong; she felt like there is there is 

some people who always support her, so she can stop taking heroin. Is so 

different when she come out and fighting alone with out any body with out 

Lorenzo support her. She just cannot did it and go back to took heroin. In the 

end of the book it didn’t really so what is the reaction to Olivia death, but I 

think he must be very sad and disappointed. He was sad because; he felt like 

anybody who he love, who have a good relationship with him just die. First 

is his grandmother and now is Olivia. He felt disappointed because the 

person that he really loves didn’t keep the promises with him. But I also 

think Lorenzo will understand for Olivia. That what she have been through 

for the past ten years. How Olivia have to flight alone with one anybody 

beside here. I think he must be disappointed about himself to because he is 

not there when Olivia need him. He should beside her when she practices the 

life with out heroin. Like I said after all the relationship between Lorenzo 

and Olivia is very good from the begging of the book, and I somehow can 

guess that happen. In the begging of the book we can see Lorenzo didn’t 

have a good relationship anybody expect his grandmother.  Suddenly Olivia 

show up and need Lorenzo help, and there is only two people in the basement 

together. They also share a some personality . So anybody can kind of guess 

the relationship between Lorenzo and Olivia will become better and of 

course Olivia is the you in the story. After reading the book I learned that 

only one moment, one second, one person that may not very close to us can 

change our life, can make us more positive about what we have to become 

who we are before, and love can do everything. Without love you cannot do 

anything.  

How is Lorenzo changed by the end

In the end of the book Lorenzo have become completely different person. In the beginning of the book he just a kid who hiding in the basement by himself who doesn't want to talk to anybody. Now Lorenzo become more open. He doesn't want to stay in the basement alone anymore. He fell like someone still love him. " I sighed and, awkwardly, I began to dance. That's what I hate the most. Dancing. But this evening I danced, and when I danced I felt something I'd never felt before. I felt alive- It take my breath away". That is the moment change Lorenzo life. He feel can feel love; the thing that he never felt before. He doesn't feel alone anymore. He become outgoing. He doesn't like to stay alone anymore. Finally you can see it just take a moment to chances people life and in the story the moment that Lorenzo dance with Olivia change his life.  

That show how Lorenzo change the way that he thing about his sister, he seem like he  love his more than before

After read I chapter 5 and 6. I think those chapter is a very

important chapter in the book, because now there is other

person living in the basement with Lorenzo. That person is

Olivia who is Lorenzo stepsister. In one morning Lorenzo

was receive a call with the wired number, when he pick up

is Olivia the stepsister who he had not met since 1998. She

was call to ask if Lorenzo parent home? And where is him?. 

Frist he think this a trap so he lie that he is on the ski trip

with his friend. An hour later Olivia comes to the basement

to found the box that belongs to her and she saw Lorenzo in

the basement instead of the ski trip like he said and the .

Olivia doesn’t care about that and promise to him that she

will not tell anybody that Lorenzo was here. The reason why

she call Lorenzo to check that his parents was home or not

is because Olivia have a very bad relationship with Lorenzo

parent, and she really hate Lorenzo dad. After Olivia left,

Lorenzo go back to enjoy his song Soul Reaver. Then really

late at night Lorenzo was about to sleep, suddenly there

was somebodies knocking on the window. Lorenzo try to

look out side and it was Olivia again and now she wants to

stay in the basement with Lorenzo because she has

nowhere to sleep tonight. First he was very angry and say

no because he worry that she make mess thing up, is really

dangerous to go and open the front door now and there is

not enough food and the basement was very small for two

people, he just wanted to be alone. After arguing back and

front decided if Lorenzo doesn’t let her in she was tell

anybody that Lorenzo was in the basement all the time, and

she actuary did it in the middle of the night she sound “

Listen up, everyone! Can you hear me? A boy is hiding in

the cellar. It’s Lorenzo Cuni, who’s pretending to be away

on ski week… hello.. “. So finally he have to let here in even

thought he really hate here now. In the next morning Olivia

was sick really bad. She ask Lorenzo for saying one more

night but Lorenzo didn’t let here stay. Suddenly Lorenzo

mom calls him again to ask to see Alssia’s mom. Now he

doesn’t know what to do finally he ask Olivia for pretend

Alssia’s mom and to her mother. But he to promised that he

will do everything Olivia said. So Olivia can stay In the

basement from now on.

Summarize in 1-2 sentence the events

In chapter 1. Lorenzo wrote a flash back about his Thirteenth and Fourteenth birthday that even that really important for him. He go to a ski trip to celebrate. but he don't actually go to the ski trip he just lying

Self-Assessment of me project

Finally I finish the biggest project in this semester. Now I feel really good, and I can not believe that I can wrote more than 2000 words that probably the words that I had done the most in America, and I have been to America for two year now; I think even If I wrote in Vietnamese I wouldn't wrote that long. This project maybe the project that worked in the most but it not the best one. There is still a lot if mistake like; gramma, punctuation, vocabulary. I wish that I would have more time into this project because in the same time when I'm working on this project I have a lot of other work to do so, I didn't spend a lot of time is paper. If I have a change to spend more time in this paper I would go over and fix every mistake that I made to make my paper be perfect because I'm the kind of person who wanted everything to be prefect. But I really proud of myself that among a lot of paper, a lot of work to do for other class can still I can wrote 2000 words and turn it in on time. I feel like I become more mature and hard worker now and I also see a lot of improve in writing . There is only one thing that I disappointed about this paper, and that is I cannot found my own character so I have to wrote a diary like I'm sookan. Finally if I have to grade my self I will give me an c or around b-.

                                                   Frist time came to the writing center.

I never came to the writing center before because I think in that short time is will not help to improve my

paper. But was totally wrong. This is my first time been to the writing center and already like the process and

how thing work, and they even have the room for the writing

. But the thing that make me most impress is when I opened my paper Ms. Swift just looked for a few

seconds and she already knew what mistake I couldn’t believe how Ms. Swift did that.Is seem like she had

look at my paper a lot of time She not just found the mistake on my paper and help fixing it. She even

doesn't mind to teach me the whole grammar process again when I'm seem to forgot it or even didn’t know

it. She even gave me an advice for how to got better at english by tell me to ready more book, see all the

movie in english or read some magazine .So student just don't come to the writing center for the writing

assignment, they can still come here for learning English. The thing that I love the most about her is she not

just told about studying all the time. She also talk about the stuff that out side to make more interesting by

showing some shocking news on the magazine or some crazy people do. This time the writing center help

me a lot in the paper. I’m looking forward to came back and to with her again to make my paper became

more perfect. But there is a only that I did’ in my opinions I think the writing center should have more than

one person to help the student because when I came there I saw a lot of student was there to, so she just

can help each people a litter bit. I think it is better if one teacher just focus on one student at the time. So

they can find more mistake and teach the student more  if they just have once student at the time and they

will make Ms. Swift life more easier.

Finally in my opinions the writing center is very helpful for student , especially the international student who

Isn’t good at writing yet to go here and help a change to improve the essay to make the essay become more

perfect
